In 2013, she graduated with a degree in Dentistry from Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine. Her desire to deepen her understanding of medically compromised patients, surgery, and general dentistry led her to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. There, she completed her general practice residency while also assisting with local elderly residents' care. As a dedicated dentist for seniors, Dr. Mandel has spent the majority of her professional career providing in-home dental services, focusing on treating the elderly and immobile.
